Spiritual Practices
Picture Prayer - Sitting with Jesus

Hello, I’m so glad you’re here.
There are moments when the noise of life grows so loud we forget that God is still speaking. We feel pulled in a dozen directions, longing to slow down but unsure how.

This is where spiritual practices become a gift. Not something to accomplish, but a way to return. A way to be with Him.

This is a simple practice called picture prayer.

Take a Moment to Be Still

Take a few quiet moments to settle your body and your thoughts.
You may want to sit comfortably, place your feet on the ground, and gently close your eyes.

When you are ready, press play below.

What Did You Notice?

After you listen, take a moment to reflect.

What did you see?
What did you hear?
What did you feel as you sat with Jesus?

You may want to write it down or simply sit with it.

As you return to your day, remember…
You are not walking alone.
Jesus is already with you.
And every time you choose to slow down and turn toward Him, you are learning a new way of walking.

Continue the Journey

This picture prayer is just the beginning.

I am creating a series of simple spiritual practices to help you slow down, make space, and learn to walk more closely with Jesus in your everyday life. The next practice will be available soon.

If this time was meaningful for you, you don’t have to walk it alone.

In the coming months, I will be offering a monthly online gathering where women can come together from wherever they are to experience these practices in community. Each gathering will include guided picture prayer, time to reflect, and small group connection.

To receive an invitation to the next online gathering, enter your name and email below. I will send you the date, details, and how to join.

If you are local, you can find more information and register for Gather or the retreat using the menu at the top of this page.

Wherever you find yourself today, this is simply an invitation.

To slow down.
To turn toward Him.
To take one small step in a new way of walking.
