Statement of Beliefs

The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the trustworthy authority for what we believe and how we live. Scripture is the foundation of all Crafted with Purpose teaching, courses, gatherings, and spiritual practices.

God
We believe in one God who eternally exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is loving, holy, faithful, all-knowing, and sovereign over all creation.

​

Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended to heaven, and will come again. Through Jesus, we are reconciled to God and invited into a restored relationship with Him.

​

Salvation
We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ. It cannot be earned through good works, religious activity, or personal effort. Because of Christ’s finished work, those who trust in Him are forgiven and made new.

​

The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit lives within every believer, reveals truth, produces spiritual fruit, gives wisdom and strength, and transforms us increasingly into the likeness of Christ.

​

Humanity

We believe every person is created in the image of God and therefore possesses inherent dignity and value. We believe all people are separated from God by sin and are invited, through His grace, to repent, place their faith in Jesus Christ, and be reconciled to Him.

​

Spiritual Formation
We believe spiritual formation is the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit through which believers become more like Jesus. We participate in that work by abiding in Christ, engaging with Scripture, practicing prayer, responding in obedience, living in community, and remaining attentive to God’s presence.

​

The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ and that believers are called to worship, grow, serve, and live in community within a local church. Crafted with Purpose exists to support and strengthen the discipleship work of the local church.

Creativity

We believe creativity is a gift from God and a reflection of His image in us, inviting every woman to participate whether or not she considers herself artistic. As women engage their hands in the creative process, the pace of the experience begins to shift: they move from simply listening to actively participating, distractions quiet, and space opens for them to become more present to God.

​

Through hands-on creative practices, women are able to reflect, make connections, express what may be difficult to put into words, and internalize what they are learning. Creativity gives biblical truth a tangible form that can be remembered and carried beyond the moment.

​

Creativity is not the destination; it is a pathway. The goal is not artistic achievement or a finished project, but deeper attentiveness to God and a meaningful response to what He is revealing through His Word. Creativity does not replace Scripture, prayer, teaching, or the work of the Holy Spirit; it creates space for truth to be received, remembered, and lived out.
