GATHER is the living community of the Crafted with Purpose Movement, a place where women come together each month to connect, be present, and walk alongside one another in intentional soul care.
GATHER invites us to slow down and dwell with God through worship, Scripture, Crafting with Purpose, and soul-honest conversation in small groups.
GATHER is about choosing to show up; for God, for one another, and for the movement we’re living out together.

Jan-March, the SHINE series
Our next three GATHER nights form the SHINE Series, a bridge between Hebrews 12:1–3, which we just finished, and the Psalm 40 journey we will enter together at the retreat in April.
The SHINE Series is a three-month focus within our GATHER rhythm where each evening begins with a personal story shared by a woman from our community.
We are doing this because stories matter. Not as teaching, and not as performance — but as a way of helping us listen more carefully to God and to our own hearts.
Each story offers a glimpse into how God has met someone in real life: in misunderstanding, growth, surrender, healing, or renewed trust. These stories are not meant to explain Scripture or wrap things up neatly. Instead, they open the room. They help us recognize ourselves, name what we’re carrying, and prepare us to receive God’s truth more deeply.
After each story, the evening continues as it always does at GATHER — with Scripture taught and anchored by Donna, followed by creative reflection and small-group sharing. The rhythm of worship, Scripture, crafting with purpose, and community remains the same. The only difference is that each teaching time begins with a story.
We believe that when one person shares honestly, it helps others feel less alone. Stories invite presence. They soften our defenses and help us listen — not just with our minds, but with our whole selves.
The SHINE Series is an invitation to slow down, listen, and notice how God is at work — in others, and in us.

SPIRITUAL PRACTICES
At GATHER, our monthly gathering, we follow a steady rhythm of spiritual practices that help us slow down, meet with God, and make space for His transforming presence.
Each month, we make room to breathe, reflect, and experience God through practices that awaken our hearts and quiet our souls. make space to slow down, breathe, and meet with God through a variety of spiritual practices.
Each of us connects with God in different ways. Some of us feel closest to Him through worship or prayer, others through creativity, nature, silence, or sharing stories. These different practices give us many ways to draw near to God and experience His presence.
We use spiritual practices not as rituals to check off a list, but as rhythms that help us fix our eyes on Jesus. They quiet our distractions, open our hearts, and allow His truth to take root in us.
Together, these rhythms become the heartbeat of GATHER - steady, gentle, and transformative.They remind us that spiritual growth isn’t about doing more, but about making room for God to move.
Each practice is a different doorway into the same beautiful truth: God wants to meet with you, right where you are.
